Manufacturing Shift Supervisor/Team Lead
Wage is commensurate with experience up to $60,000 annually, in addition to overtime eligibility and yearly performance bonus.

Manufacturing Supervisor Overview:
As an Extrusion Supervisor, you will play an intricate role in the supervision and development of press team apprentices. You will be responsible for production, quality, and safety standards being met, disciplining employees, and resolving problems as they arise.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise a press team of 5 to 6 employees, in the areas of performance and production, quality, and safety.
Guide, support, and coach press team to ensure success and growth.
Promote a safety culture abiding by workplace and OSHA guidelines, involving safety manager as necessary.
Identify quality shortfalls and implement process improvements to optimize efficiency; maintain quality standards through quality checks and process control measures.
Review work orders and maintain production records in accordance with company standards and procedures.
Maintain open and clear lines of communication with team, management (to provide updates/address concerns), and maintenance (to address/report operational issues).
Meet or exceed production targets, efficiency goals (incentivized), and reduce waste.
Qualifications:
High school Diploma or equivalent, training in extrusion processes is a plus.
Previous supervisory experience at a 3-year minimum.
Basic math and computer skills along with knowledge of basic measuring tools (protractors, micrometers, calipers, etc.).
Strong understanding of manufacturing process, equipment, quality control, and safety regulations.
Detail oriented with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to lift 50-75 lbs.
Physical requirements for the Manufacturing Supervisor:
This position requires the individual to work in a factory/manufacturing environment. The temperatures can fluctuate from hot to cold and the noise level is high. An individual in this role will be able to walk, bend, stoop, twist, turn, climb, and push/pull frequently. With proper safety equipment, an individual in this role may work above ground level (off the ground) occasionally. An individual in this role will need to be always aware of movement and/or noises around them. An individual in this role must move 50lbs frequently and up to 100lbs occasionally. An individual in this role will remain stationary and move about the factory as needed per essential duties of the position. An individual in this role will be an effective communicator verbally and in writing, and this role requires individuals to read, follow and give written procedures to employees with or without reasonable accommodations.
